Privacy Policy

The short version: DOWNLOAD IT collects no data about you. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Your downloads, library, bookmarks and history stay on your devices and in your own iCloud.

What stays on your device

Your downloaded files, your library (names, folders, hashtags), bookmarks, history, open tabs and settings are stored on your device. We don't receive them.

iCloud sync

If iCloud sync is on (the default), your library and its details sync through your own iCloud account, under Apple's privacy policy. Only you and your devices can see it; we have no access. You can turn sync off in DOWNLOAD IT's Settings.

Browsing and downloading

Pages and files come directly from the websites you visit to your device. Those websites have their own privacy practices. Private tabs keep no history, cookies or site data after you close them.

To show website icons, DOWNLOAD IT asks each website for its own icon directly. It never uses a third-party icon service.

Ad and tracker blocking

Blocking ads with HUSH happens entirely on your device using a built-in list. Nothing about the pages you visit is sent anywhere.

Purchases

DOWNLOAD IT Pro is bought through Apple. Apple processes payment; we receive no payment details and no personal information about you.

Children

DOWNLOAD IT is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
